ABOUT NIC
My name is Nicole Pitts. I’m a wife to a great guy and mother to two amazing daughters who are now 26 and 20. My family has resided in Carnation for the past 20 years and we are very active in the community. Our family loves to participate in races throughout the year. I have been the Race Director for Carnation’s Run for the Pies for the past decade.
I’ve been involved in the fitness industry for most of my life and, since I’m not a young chick anymore, that’s a pretty long time! For as long as I can remember, my goal has been to stay fit and encourage others to do the same.
Through the years, my family and I have experienced many challenges and changes physically – from my battling the post-partum blues after giving birth to our first child, to struggling with sports injuries, and, well, just aging! I have been able to use these challenges to learn about the positive effects of exercise, diet, and overall well-being to help others move past their own challenges. Each of these moments in my life have made me a better personal trainer. Wherever you are at in your fitness walk, I’m confident I can help guide you to reach your fullest potential.
My drive to stay active and help others do the same over the last several years motivated me became a certified fitness instructor in 1989. I later acquired an I.D.E.A. certification and taught various fitness classes. I owned and operated an Aerobics studio in the early 90’s, volunteered at Eagle Rock Multi-Age as a PE teacher for two years, and coached Soccer and Track for the Riverview School District. I coach track at Tolt Middle School to this day. I have earned several certifications such as YMCA, IDEA Group Fitness and NASM Personal Trainer. Currently, I am an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, ACE Fitness Nutrition Specialist and RRCA Certified Running Coach.
I have the incredible opportunity to work with people every day who want to change their path! I enjoy finding new ways to stay fit and often feel more like a life coach! I love teaching others to listen to their bodies, acknowledge their fitness goals, and help them discover what physically and mentally is keeping them from attaining those goals. I have much to offer and can help you meet your nutritional and physical goals. I have a positive attitude and am 100% dedicated to helping others make changes to be better, healthier, and happier!
Life’s too short not to have fun and I hope I am able to create that for others.
